Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building

Popularly known as Tocho, is the headquarters of the Tokyo Government overlooking the 23 wards/cities in the area. This is a great way to see Tokyo without breaking the bank.
Location: Shinjuku
How to get there: Tocho-mae Station (Oedo Line)
Tokyo View: Go to the 45th floor (202 meters high) – North and South Observatory – FREE
Opening/Closing Time: South Observatory – 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM / North Observatory – 9:30 AM – 11:00 PM (Admission ends 30 minutes before closing time)

Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building

Tokyo Tower

Inspired by the Eiffel Tower, Tokyo Tower is a popular tourist destination as it has not only a communications and observation tower, but also has shops and attractions called  Foot Town and a One Piece theme park.
Location: Roppongi
How to get there: Akabanebashi Station (Oedo Line) + 5 minutes Walk, Kamiyacho Station (Hibiya Line) + 7 minutes Walk, Onarimon Station (Mita Line) + 6 minutes walk, DaimonStatio (Asakusa Line) + 10 minute walk, Hamamatsucho Station (Yamanote Line) + 15 minutes walk
Tokyo View: Main Deck (150m) – JPY 900 / Top Deck (150m and 250m) –  JPY 2800
You can buy at the first floor of the Tokyo Tower or thru klook
Opening/Closing Time: 9:00 AM – 11:00 PM (Admission ends 30 minutes before closing time)

Tokyo City View and Sky Deck 

An observation facility located at Roppongi Hills that offers inner (250m) and outer (270 m) observation decks
Location: Roppongi (Roppongi Hills)
How to get there: Roppongi Station (Oedo and Hibiya Line)
Tokyo View: Inner Deck 52nd floor –   JPY 1,800 / Sky Deck – add JPY 500
Opening/Closing Time: Inner 10:00 AM – 11:00 PM / 12:00 (Fridays, Saturdays and Days before Holidays) Sky Deck 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Admission ends 30 minutes before closing)

Roppongi Hills

Tokyo Sky Tree

The tallest building in Tokyo, and also has a small town on its base known as Sky Tree (Solamachi) Town bursting of restaurants, shops, an aquarium, and many more.
Location: Sumida
How to get there: Tokyo Sky Tree Station (Isesaki Line), Oshiage Station (Asakusa/Hanomin/Keisei Line)
Tokyo View: 350th floor – JPY 1060 (Same Day) or JPY 3000 (Fast) / 450th floor – add JPY 1,030 (Same Day) or JPY 1000 (Fast)
Opening/Closing Time: 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM (Last entry on 9:00 PM)

Budget Tip: If you want to see a nice view of Tokyo for free, go to the 30th or 31st floor of Solamachi

Tokyo Big Wheel (Daikanransha)

A 115 meter ferris wheel at Palette Town in Odaiba. It is the world’s 12th tallest wheel ever constructed.
Location: Odaiba
How to get there: Aomi Station (Yurikamome Line) or Tokyo Teleport Station (Rinkai Line)
Tokyo View: 15 minute ride
Price: JPY 920 (more discounts if group)
Opening/Closing Time: 10 AM – 10 PM
