Everything starts with a DREAM

Blog post

Everything starts with a dream and as Walt Disney said “Dreams Do Come True, if we have courage to pursue them.”

Getting a blog and sharing my travel stories has been a dream; though it has not been a goal of mine a few years back but as life goes by I got  pumped by people and their stunning adventures. Rather than seeing it thru others while in front of my screen, I want it to do it in person and have my own unique experience. If others can do it, I can do it too. If an ordinary little person, like me, can do it, YOU CAN DO IT TOO!

Fears are normal, everybody gets afraid. I’m afraid that this blog may fail or I won’t have so many adventures to share but I always believe that fears should not hinder our passions. It’s better to get out of the house and see the world rather than seeing it through a screen. Its better doing things that you love rather than wondering how it feels.

My first trip abroad was to a country that has a special place in my heart, Japan, it was ambitious to go there due to the fact it was my first time and I was going solo. But rather than going somewhere cheap or easier; I chose what I love the most. And it was indeed a dream come true.

Achieving a dream isn’t easy.  It doesn’t come true with a snap of a finger or after you blow out a candle; you go to steps and have sacrifices. I spent sleepless nights (due to my VISA approval), money (for the expenses), time (I was absent at work) but it was ALL WORTH IT. Making your dreams come is NOT EASY but it is also NOT IMPOSSIBLE.

Making a DREAM TO COME TRUE > SACRIFICES that you have made to get there.

Setting up this blog WAS NOT EASY, I have to read a lot guides, learn a few codes, set-up things I haven’t encountered in my computer class (insert brain crying) but I am hopeful that in the long run this will be quite a feat.

In life, I always have these 3 things with me to keep me going; FAITH, LUCK and PERSISTENCE.

Always remember to believe in yourself, though sometimes you are your worst enemy; remember you are also your best supporter. You have not been born as a loser; a thousand sperm cells have joined the race but who got first to the egg cell? YOU! You were born to win!

And if ever anything goes wrong, you have God to catch you. Sometimes HE just spoils you whenever or tests your faith but never forget HE is there every step of your journey, happy or sad, HE will always be with you.

During board exams review, a professor once said told us to tell this to ourselves “I WILL PERSIST UNTIL I SUCCEED”. This quote has been with me ever since and I want to share it with you. Persist guys! Persist until you make it! Persist even if you fell a lot; don’t stop until you make it to the finish line.

Luck; I’m not sure how this really goes; but I think it’s the X factor of life. The Chemical X that makes the Power Puff Girls not ordinary girls. The 0.01% we think we don’t need but somehow it can make things go our way.  Luck is what we make it. Think of it as a good friend and GOOD Luck will come your way.

You LIVE everyday until you DIE
; at least ONCE A YEAR you make a dream come true, a bucket list checked or a challenge completed. Stop WASTING life wondering of the WHAT IFS, start MAKING that dream come true! Do a simple step or a great leap, do whatever!

Remember that everything that starts with a dream, combined with the faith of oneself (and to God), the luck you have in life, and the persistence to fulfill it, it may come true.

Once a dreamer, now a dream doer (who is just getting started),
